All the doctors operate independently when consulting at MyHealth. They are not an employee of the practice; hence, they maintain full professional autonomy in the treatment of their patients.



Practice Information

Myhealth Medical Centre at Eastwood opened its doors in May 2014 and is one of the newest Myhealth Centres. Myhealth Eastwood is a mixed Billing practice and offers comprehensive allied health services including physiotherapy, dietitian, diabetes educator, podiatry and psychology counselling services. The doctors take pride in the high standard of medical care provided to patients in a modern and friendly environment.

Myhealth Medical Centre Eastwood is conveniently located within level 1 of Eastwood Shopping Centre. Being only 200m from Eastwood railway station and bus interchange, Eastwood Shopping Centre is centrally located in the popular Rowe St mall. There is ample parking available within the shopping centre. You will also find numerous pharmacies and optometrists within the shopping centre and its immediate area.

Dr Sandy Liang also provides acupuncture services. These services will incur a gap payment of $20.

Appointments

An appointment and a walk-in system operate in this practice with an average of 15 minutes allocated per patient, unless a long appointment is required. Please inform the receptionist if you require extra time. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. When booking, please advise reception if your booking is URGENT, if you require a long appointment, need a special medical examination or procedure, or if more than one family members needs to be seen. If you are unable to keep the appointment, please inform the receptionist as soon as possible so that someone else can be accommodated.

Telephoning your Doctors

If you desire phone contact with your doctor, please contact reception and the staff will try to facilitate this. Note that patients are encouraged to return to see their doctor for clinical review as this allows a more comprehensive assessment.

Home Visits

Home visits are available to patients at this practice who live within a 5km radius of the practice. As this is at the doctor’s discretion, please ask your doctor for more information during your next visit.

After Hours Care

If you need urgent medical attention outside of normal surgery hours, please contact National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25. You can arrange for a home visit and you will be bulk billed if you have a valid Medicare Card. This service is available weekdays (5.30pm – 9.00am), Saturday and Sunday (1.00pm – 9.00am). Brochures about this service are available from the surgery reception counter. This service is only available to regular patients of this practice.
